Red Dot question
« on: March 18, 2006, 09:16:51 AM »
I'm having trouble seeing the red dot on my Bushnell and Millett units in bright daylight. So much so that I'm thinking about putting standard scopes on my 22 and Contender barrels. My dot scopes are much more compact and I love them in low light but they just wash out for me when it gets bright.

For anyone else having this problem, have you tried the green dot models, and do they work any better for you in broad daylight?

Ultra-dot sells there red-dots with a filter for the bright days. But I have not needed them.  :D
