R.I.P. Sam
« on: March 18, 2006, 10:02:59 AM »
My good buddy Sam, hunting companion and best friend for ten years, died Thursday night. His heart finally gave out. He was a fighter and gave all he had to the end. This 11 year old Brittany was one of the best dogs I've had in my 59 years. The only other one that could compare was Muggsy, a Rat Terrier mix that a had as a child. Sam was my second Britt and if I ever have another dog it will be a Brittany.
R.I.P. Sam, I miss you pal.

Sorry about your loss, I have had to lay a few down my self, In fact my little Brittany bitch is on the verge of going now, She has a hip problem and it bothers her a bunch but she still wants to go with me every time i leave the house with a gun. I have had nothing but Britts since 1968 and will have another after she is gone. Its going to be a sad day at my place when she goes. I know what you are going through, Hang in there Friend,
