hiram - first make certain the bolt operates freely without the magazine inserted. Then insert an empty mag and see if the bolt travels all the way to the rear and locks open on the empty mag. Then begin loading one round at a time until the mag is full and operate the bolt each time. Some of those springs are really tough and may force the round up against the bottom of the bolt freezing it in place. If this is the case, just get yourself a whole bunch of surplus mags. I forget if the have coil springs or not but you may wish to look at the spring in your current magazine to determine if it is inserted properly before you go to purchase additional mags. HTH.
