Thanks for the warm welcome!  :-)
As I said earlier I have commited to a full life of re-loading.  Just got my order in with all the goodies.  I got a grab bag of different weight and styles of bullets to experiment with.  From 300 gr Rem HP's to 405 Laser casts.  I got some 5744, 2520, and RE7 to start load developement.  What I'm afraid of is my choice of primers.  I ordered CCI benchrest's.  Do any of you have any expereince with these in the 45-70?  I've used them alot in my sons .270 and my .303, with great success, but I'm thinking that they might be a little to cool for the  BC. :?   Please advise?  Also if yall have any pet loads or tips I'm all eyes.  Thanks and have good one.

It would seem Acurate Arms powders site is not functioning.
I have tried several routes to any AA site that would have any reloading info and have come up with nothing but blank screens, aks "not available".

Hmmm, works for me, Don. Maybe more puter gremlins?? All of their load data is in .pdf format, so you need Adobe Reader to open them, can you open the link below?

 Well theirs another Christmas gone to the dogs!  Popped open the box of reloading supplies last night and what did I get? (ready)  Half of the order.   The only thing that would have made it worse was somebody chanting "you'll shoot your eye out!".  They sent a powder and no bullet to go with it, or vice versa, on all four loads that I planned to make for the 45-70.  I called them first thing this morning mad as a wet hen and the gracious lady at the trouble desk said the rest should arrive within the week.  That tears it I'm biting a mail man! LOL  I did get to trim and prime all my brass.  When the other stuff gets here it wont take long before I'm up and running.  Quickdtoo thanks for the links and I've been "lurking"  those since last Christmas.  I am leary of trying "recipes" from the Internet.  Are the Real Gun recipes trustworthy.  I'm not bad mouthing them in any way, I'm just healthily cautious.  I dont re-load on a guess. Well I'll give you a range report when I get the chance.  Gotta go, I feel the urge to grope my chronograph before the wife gets home. :P

The fellas on the BigBore forum at MarlinOwners.com reference the Realgun data regularly for their leverguns, so I wouldn't hesitate to use it, just be sure to reduce the loads by 10% as they are max loads. Although they indicate they are Ruger loads, they aren't max for the Ruger. If you compare some of the Hodgdon powder data with the Hodgdon Annual data, you'll see they're trapdoor to lever action loads, depending on the powder, all well within safe SB2 levels, although the recoil may not be considered safe!!!

Any gunshop that also carries shotgun reloading supplies will have it.  Cabelas online has it too.
