I took my 59/66 apart to clean the cosmo, and can' get the trigger assembly to snap back into place. I see where the tab has to latch, but cannot get it in that far. Any pointers on this would be appreciated. I am off to a rough start. :? Thanks - Gordy.

flip the saftey to the on position then it should snap into place

Rest the trigger guard on your bench and push down hard on the stock.

I have the same problem.. Lay the gun down on the floor with trigger guard up. Push firmly. It can take a bit of force. I did get her real clean,, except for the barrell.. no matter how much I clean it.. it still looks fuzzy inside/ these are not crome lined. Guess I have to live with it.

I've ran into a few barrels like that too. If you take JB bore paste and run a patch on a tight jag back and forth a couple dozen times, it usually cleans and polishes it up shiny if it isn't rusted or pitted.
