I've been hearing a lot of good things about the 94. I've also been hearing that the trigger is heavy and action stiff. I'm seriously considering getting one. I don't mind doing the action work if it's even remotely similar to anything I've worked on in the past. I was wondering if there's a lighter spring kit or any aftermarket trigger parts though? Thanks

Wolff doesn't have anything recommended for the 94. I was hoping maybe someone else it making them. Thanks though :-)

I tried lightening the hammer spring on one once. It wouldn't fire untill I got it almost back to where it was originally. I hated the thing. Got rid of it pretty quick. KN

I picked one up on Thursday i didn't even fire it came home spent about 30-45 min on a trigger job perfect!!!!!!!!

Did you do anything with the springs, or did it just need deburred and stoned?

Left the spring stock did alot of polishing and stoning.

coils mainspring? If you cut off a coil too much on the spring, you can just "bush" it with a washer, ya know. Springs wear down a bit with use, so the factories make them a bit stiff to start with, allowing for that. I bet a Wolf kit, for the Smith would either work in the Taurus, or could be made to work, rather easily.

Slink, I may give that a try when I get the Taurus. I still have a lot of leftover Wolff springs for S&W. I think I'll stone everything up nice and slick first and see what I end up with before I tinker with the springs. It might not need it. I got sidetracked and bought a Savage MK II FV recently and have been getting it dialed in.
