Has anyone used action plastic baits, and If so.......How do you rate them?
I like the prices I see on the website, but I wonder about the quality!

:D I have been an avid bass and tournament fisherman for well over 50 years.  I have used plastic since day one, and can truthfully say. plastic is responsible for approximately 50 percent of the fish I have caught.  Spinner and jigs are second, likely 35 percent.  The rest were caught on a variety of topwater and crank baits.  Even today when most of my fishing is for pleasure, there are five rods in the boat ready for action.  One with a jig,  a spinner bait, a crank bait, and two rigged with plastic.  Plastic ican be fished yera round in all kinds of water. (Thats down south)

Are you speaking of a specific bait or just plastic in general?
I use a plethera   of plastics. Worms, critters, tubes , flukes ... They will all catch fish. I use plastic probably 75 of the time and catch a lot of good fish.. you should see the last one that got away :D

:D I am talking plastic in general.  I personally like the Zoom products, they have produced well, Berkley products are also good.  Over the years I have, at some point, used most everything on the market, I started fishing plastic with the old Creme worms.  They were only available in red or black and came rigged on a leader with a spinner in front of the worm, there was no weed guard, so you were always tieing on a new one.  That was good for the company, but expensive for the serious fisherman.

For several years I only fished worms/lizards.  I would take nothing else with me.  By spending the time fishing the plastic, and learning how to use it, I think I became a better fisherman.  When my wife started fishing, I did the same thing with her.  Once she accomplished worm fishing I put her on a spinner bait, and from there to other baits.  Even today, when she goes, she always wants to start with a plastic bait.  She has more confidance, and thinks it produces bigger fish.   I have to agree.

for years the only 3 colors we had were red , black and purple and they only came in one size. Purple seemed to catch the most fish for me. The 1st thing I usually tie on now is either a worm or a brush hogg in a green watermellon  / pumpkin seed color. If nothing hits on those then I'll start changing baits and colors.

Well,
Thats dipping.. not fishing.. After the kaawoom and the watery mist clears you pick up your net and start dipping them out of the water .  Now you can only dip for about 10 min ( depending on location) cause 15 min is about how long it will take them to get to you.  :D

My question was.......Has anyone used the (Action Plastic) brand of plastic baits? They are a company out of Ga, or Al."I think the latter" I found their website online and their prices are the lowest I've found.I am curious about the quality of them.

they are available in the Walmarts in Alabama..they are good lures, probably manufactured by Harville ..they make most of the generic branded soft lures in the south..now Berkley, Gulp and a Zoom might catch you a few more fish, but for the money they are hard to beat..especially things like twister tails and crappie tubes.

Most of the soft baits now have a little salt or scent to them, but I always spray mine with a little yum spray anyway!
