I've carried one for afew years and still do. I love it.
it shoots great and carries the same. It's lite enough and its size is perfect that you'll carry it all the time. One thing don't spray it down with gun scrubber because there is a plastic coating on the frame to stop it from discoloring and the gun srubber will bubble it. Get one and you won't regret it.
squeeze it, don't pull it!!!!

I have one and love it.  The only complaint that I have is the coating.  The coating has come off in spots on mine.

I picked up a new one last year and put CT laser grips on it for my wife.  She hasn't gotten her carry license yet, but it's been nice to carry and it's a heck of a lot more concealable than my compact 1911.  It shoots great althought the +P loads are a handful with such a small and light frame.  It would be money well spent.   8)

Terry:  I don't have the 637 but I have an Airweight Bodyguard, the Model 38 with the aluminum frame, and I love it.  I've had it for a number of years and carry it regularly.  Mine is not +P rated but I shoot 200 grain factory reproduction loads exclusively, unless I just want to blow off some old reloads, and she doesn't hic-cough a bit.  I used to use the CP 200 gn swc but recently purchased the same from Mt. Baldy.

That 637 should serve you well.  If, at some time in the future you start not to like the recoil or blast from the +P loads, you can always go to that 200 grain load - it shoots at a lower pressure than the +Ps - actually, the same pressure as the wadcutter loads.  HTH.  Mikey.

I have carried one for over a year now.  It fits great in my front pocket.  I originally got it for deep carry in the summer.  However, it is so easy to carry I carry it even when packing something bigger.  I did not know about the coating.  Mine seems ok.  I just use Hoppes.

I really like mine, very light and carries easily.  I changed the grips on mine as I have larger hands....great gun for the money.

Recently bought a 3" Taurus .357 magnum (small frame/same as J frame) and really like it as well.  Weights in at nearly double the Smith though....

I bought one several months back to replace my P12-45. I like it a lot but have only carried it a few times dropped into my front pocket. I will be opening 2 retail stores in about 4 months and will carry it everyday. What kind of holsters does everyone use for their 637, or similar gun?

I just drop mine in my front pocket.  That works fine for me.
