I'm looking for a compact coyote calling rifle for heavy cover. I checked out a Survivor at a gun show and liked it accept for the balance. I was wondering if chopping the barrel to 18" would cut the weight down enough so it wasn't so heavy forward. But still give me enough velocity for a rare 100-150 yard shot.
