77/44 ammo rec.

Does anyone own this rifle in stainless. I'm looking for a good factory load for it any recommendations? Thanks!!

All I can suggest is you try different ammunition. You might be surprised as to what works best. Each gun is different and will most likely shoot one brand and bullet type better than others. The only way to find out, is to try as many as you can.

For example. I bought a 4 magnum revolver. My intention was to relaod for it. I just wanted  to shoot it. By luck I got a deal on Federal American Eagle 240 JHP. I bought a couple of boxs. The first box I couldn't believe the results. So I tried different brands and kept coming back to the American eagle brand. My gun liked the American Eagle ammunition so much. I decided I didn't need to reload for it.

It is no impressive ammunition as far as bullet construction or velocity but it hits where I aim it. And thats all I really wanted in the first place.

I have the All-Weather 77/44.  I got lucky, mine seems to like the cheap Winchester white box stuff from Wal-Mart (240gr JSP).  Did a fine job on a doe this past season.  Talk about one fun shooting gun!  That's one I'll never get rid of.  reakin

I have a Blued/ Walnut M77/44.  It won't shoot 180gr bullets for beans. It does like 240gr. bullets much better!     I shoot 99% cast bullets in mine and they do well!!!

I also have the stainless, and like reakin, mine really likes the Winchester 240 gr JSP whitebox stuff from Wal-Mart.  My reloads with H-110 and Speer 240 grain JSP also shot well.
