Blackmountainexotics.com-Got a nice hog this weekend

My buddy and I had good luck yesterday at Blackmountainexotics.com, in by Henryetta,Oklahoma.  This was our second trip back.  My hog weighed 240 pounds.  I was happy to get him.Jim is nice guy and there are alot of hogs.

Is this a open hunting area? As opposed to a fenced in?

Thanks guys.  Jim, the place in 160 acres,very burly and hard to hunt.  Yes, it is fenced.  The guy has had the operation going for 3-4 years.  The hogs were trapped out of the wild and brought in.  Alot of his hogs have reproduced there is alot different kinds.  He is the web site  www.blackmountainexotics.us.  He allows 6 guy at a time.  Onced you get in you forget about the fence.  Secondly, I shot him about 50 yards in the side of the head with my model 7 7mm08, 140 grain trophy bonded.  It just dropped him like a sack of potatoes, nice entrance and exit wound.  This little short gun works great in that thick stuff.  I had to crawl 50-60 yards on my stomach to get a shot.  Those hogs are smart, they receive plenty of pressure.  This was our second time and we really had fun.

Sound like a good place to spend some time. Dontcha just love to get down on your belly  so you can look ol rattler in the eye. Bet theres some giant rattle snakes in the area,, They may still be denned up ( hope So )

The little Mod.7 is great for that kind of hunting not to mention the cal. you was useing, Don't have a 7mm 08 but i do like it. Sounds like a good time was had by all ( but one ) Mister piggy,,, Have a great day and stay safe .............Joe...........

deerman12 ,have you tried hunting free range hogs with dogs? it will make your blood pump. we prefer knives, but any weapon will work

I would really like to hunt hogs with dogs.  I am sure that is a real rush.
