Ok - no snikering - dufus here purchased a RMC hammer spur $12.99 - fits just fine cocks the hammer just fine - but when it is installed on an Omega there is no opening the breech - stupid!

Anyone with an Encore that wants one I sell it for $8.00 plus mailing - come on all you Encore people.... you gotta have one of these neat gadgets....
Keep shooting muzzleloaders - they are a blast....

Sorry man, my scope sits high enough I don't have a problem getting the hammer back. :-)

I haven't seen a post by dufus yet, and why are you selling his hammer spur? :)  Sorry, couldn't resist.

"Dufus" - I don't think I can tell you what my wife called me in this forum - so "dufus" worked for me - Just about any "dufus" would understand as you watch the hammer disapear into the stock - a hammer spur is not going to work.. I could claim I am from MO. and needed to be shown... but!
