There have been several posters that claim to have Marlins that will shoot MOA.
I have 2, an 1895 in 45.70 that shoots very close to and on occasion MOA. My 336 in .35 Remington manufactured in 1977 will do around an inch and a half at best, but that's plenty good for deer at the ranges I expect to shoot at.
There are lots of older Marlins around and a lot of people like the pre cross bolt safety Marlins better than current production Marlins. Maybe you can find one made close to the year of the one you sold?
