What the heck is the GBO BFRG Forum anyway?
« on: March 28, 2006, 10:46:06 PM »
OK by now perhaps some of you have noticed we have a new forum, the GraybeardOutdoors Bigfoot Research Group or (GBO BFRG) for short.

This is a MEMBERS ONLY forum. You can read but you CANNOT post unless you are a member of the GBO BFRG.

So how do you become a member? You ask Graybeard to join of course.

Will just anyone be allowed in? Nope not on your life. It is for folks who are if not true believers in the existence of Bigfoot at least are willing to believe once they see some real evidence. Those who are known hecklers and naysayers need not ask, you won't be allowed in.

Some folks have already been added so if you think you are a person who would fit here check to see if your name is already on the group list or try to post and if it lets you then you don't have to ask, you were in the Charter Group.

If you find you can read but not post and think you fit as a prospective member you can PM Graybeard and ask for permission to join the group. If you are deemed a likely candidate your name will be added.

If you are a member or become a member and we find you heckling or misbehaving you will be removed from the group, it's that simple. Kinda like it was for a while on the Strange Things Forum.

So what is allowed on this forum?  You are allowed to post your bigfoot related stories or things you've seen or read other places that are related to bigfoot and bigfoot activity. You may ask questions of the posters for clarification or to get them to expand the details. You may question specifics of the report but not just come out and call them a liar. Since only those who accept that bigfoot exists or at least might exist will be posting here I don't expect this to become a problem.

What is NOT allowed? All the normal GBO Rules apply here so that means no personal attacks, no name calling, no foul language or off color jokes. Keep it clean enough for all family members. Also not allowed are personal feuds and out right challenges of the truthfulness or character of the posters. Discuss facts or reports NOT the character of the poster.

Also not allowed are any non bigfoot related stories. There are plenty of other places on the site for them.
