camsdaddy,

I know where you are coming from on the caller, I was in the same position. But dude, the Foxpro is the real deal. I bought the Cass Creek and it was not loud enough. Now they have since come out with a Cass Creek remote model that may be better than the one I had. Check it out and see. But you really do get what you pay for in the electronic caller arena. But the Foxpro is awsome. Check on  www.predatormasters.com on their classifieds section and you can usually come across a Foxpro cheaper than in the store.

Good Luck.

Bring a couple of those barrles over to the predator hunting museum, I'm always looking for things to display.
I agree, you get what you pay for but nowadays that's not always true. I have found that the cheap callers don't have enough volume

Camsdaddy

If for some reason you don't want to spend a bunch of money which i can understand get you a good call and learn how to use it and then decide if you really want a remote or not. I have the fox-pro and do about as well with a mouth call as with the remote. If the coyote is fairly close i can call them in with my mouth or lips. You must understand with the calling craze came some one with the worlds best caller and on and on until you finally have a trunk full of calls and they all work about the same,,, Mean time you have spent a tub of money. Get yourself one of the name brand calls and try it for a while then decide what will work best for you. Good luck :D  :D ............Joe................
