Congrats !!! That's a record to be proud of !!! Way to improve up from D- to F+ status.

I wonder what Detroit, Chicago, LA, DC, etc, scored. Probably all A+  :-D

After all, it's about who has the most restrictive gun laws, and not about common sense & freedom.

They should rename that, gun violence is someone coming and trying to hurt you or your property.  Having locks and child laws has nothing to do with it.  And I look up the statistics, and as of 2000, we were ranked 26th for murder, and 33rd for robbery.  Turns out those guns in the house do help, we have less of these than over half of the other states.  I'll tell you this much, I was carrying guns and hunting by myself long before I turned 16.

This rating system is crap, I think.  Having no concealed carry laws means that the law abiding citizens can more easily protect themselves, which means less violence against them.

Maybe with a little time we can try and improve that rating to an F or even an F-. When it comes to Sarah Brady last is the best place to be on her list. I would like to go ice fishing with her some time, I would have to cut an awful big hole...

My 8 year old is VERY proud of the 6 grouse he got last season.  Only disappointment was we couldn't find a rabbit or ptarmigan for him to shoot.

My 4 yr old is proud to have tried shooting the .22.

The 8 yr old really puffs up that I let him shoot my Marlin 41 mag at the range.

Hope to teach them gun control early.  Steady steady, be sure of the target and back stop, sight alignment, breath control, SQUEEZE the trigger,  follow through meat in the pot.
