PT-111 Millenium Pro 9mm
« on: March 31, 2006, 05:51:16 PM »
I just bought one. I'm interested in finding out what ammunition any other owners use for accuracy/reliable feeding. I am using Remington/UMC 115 JHP. I am getting 8" groups offhand at 15 yards. Does this seem adequate for some shooting a new gun? I use this ammo necause it's cheap and I figured the JHP would be good for personal protection. Please post any comments or ammo reccoumendations

8" at 15 yards doesnt sound very good at all to me, I would suggest trying some different ammo..... :D

shoot it off a rest and or let somebody else shoot it. If you are not used to a dao gun your groups will be bad at first.

The gun shoots fine now, I needed to get used to the DAO trigger.

I know what you mean about the trigger.  It took me quite a few rounds before they went where I wanted them.  Loading the magazines beat my hands half to death, which didn't help.  I ordered a gizmo to help load them.  I finally started using the second joint of my trigger finger and that brought the shots onto the target.
