A friend just picked up a Knight MK 85, i think it's a late 90's model.  Anyway, he was wondering where to start on bullets and loads.  Not having any Knights in my arsenal i thought i would ask.  What is your favorite load for this barrel (whitetail hunting, target)?  Thanks in advance as always.

Mine likes 90 grs of FFFg 777 with a Hornady 250 SST lit off with a RWS cap.

Critter is right on here! Mine also likes 90 grains of powder best with a 250 grain saboted bullet.

Powder between 80 and 100 grains (volume) and bullets in the 250 to 300 grain should give him the best performance as far as accuracy.
