New 12 ga Turkey barrel, scope mount?????

I just got my new topper 28" tukey barrel w/choke.  Can these barrels be drilled and tapped for a scope mount?

If it's new it should already be tapped. Check about halfway up the barrel, thats where my 10ga is tapped. TC

The 12 ga is not tapped. There isn't enough meat over the chamber area or the barrel like the heavy 10 ga. It can be done if you find the right smith that knows how to do it, but most won't touch it. It is a special process.
