NO PMC RIMFIRE AMMO BEING MADE THIS YEAR!!!
« on: April 07, 2006, 06:01:52 PM »
The following response directly from PMC shows why I can't find any .22 Mag ammo:

"We are not carrying the Rim Fire this year.  Our supplier raised the prices on us, so we could not be competitive on the market.  Management will be looking at carrying the Rim Fire next year (hopefully).  Sorry that you can not find the .22 magnum.

Best regards,

Diane

Sale Admin."

Their rimfire ammo comes from Korea.  I don't get it. Why has the price of .22 mag and .17 HMR run wild????  Anyone???

Probably already had them in stock.
In Georgia where I live, I have seen a drastic jump in prices on ammunition, and a drop in availability of many different calibers?
Even The local Wally-World has cut it's selection. I have started buying
a 500 round brick every time I am there just in case.

Local gun shop has some PMC 22 mag on hand, You do not need hazmat for loaded ammo so they could ship it to you. Just a thought if your interested?
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

Hey "Uncle Joe" ..
50 or so miles south west of Atlanta, The closest Wally-World is in Carrollton,
That is the one I am referring to.

I recently bought 2 bricks of PMC Moderators for about $22.75 each plus shipping.  Seems kinda high, but then again the Remington subsonics are about the same price, maybe a couple dollars lower depending on where you find them.  It's true though, I had a very hard time finding the Moderators.  Some vendors may advertise them at a lower price, but they are out of stock.  I'm going to give my Rem subsonics and PMC Moderators a try as soon as my scope from Jon at www.theopticzone.com comes in.  In the meantime, it looks like the Moderators are becoming a rare commodity.
