What is the bolt face measurement for a 243? Where do you measure at? What other calibers are alike with it as far as concerning barrel/chamber changes with the same action?? Thanks.. tootalloutdoors

The bolt face diameter is exactly the same as the .30-06, all the cartridges that derive from that, and all the Mauser designed cartridges, and derivatives thereof i. e. .257 Roberts.
The distance from the face of the bolt to the shoulder of the chamber (headspace) is the same for all cartridges based on the .308 case.
Did that answer your question?  :D
