bbqsnbeer:  Welcome to the forum and to Graybeard Outdoors.  You are in good company, many of the posters here have a special interest in the SMLEs and many others and will always alert the forum as to where good deals may be found.

Those are some nice looking SMLEs you have there.  How do they shoot?  My 1942 Savage made No4 Mk1 groups under one inch at 100 yds and my old N01 Mk3 will still hold under 2" if someone with better eyes than me shoots it (lolol).  Mikey.

Thx Mikey  :D
With my No4's , I can get 2" groups at 100yd  . Stretch it out abit to 300yd and with the scoped Savage , 3" groups and with my Longbranch ( Mk4 sights )or Maltby ( Mk1 sights ) , 4" at 300yd .
With the No1 SMLE I have a little more of a spread as with the 2A1...old eyes here..lol

1944 No4 Mk1 Maltby , BSA FTR'd at a unknown date

1945 GRI ShtLE , BSA FTR'd 1953

1918 ShtLE BSA , English civilian conversion to commercial .410

Shooting these old mil-surps is a lot of fun, especially when something as old as we are (or better) outshoots most 'new out of the box' rifles.

That's pretty good shooting for an old Smelly, but that's how they shoot.  Mikey.

I have aquired another #3 myself that everything is in great shape
on except the bore. I am having a bit of a problem locating another barrel for it. I keep getting "Out Of Stock" or "Dark Bores". Any Ideas on where I can get a good one?
