Anyone Use AA#7 Powder?
« on: April 11, 2006, 08:15:26 PM »
Just for the sake of conversation:

I loaded up some 45s (those ACP thingamajigs, not the GAP whatchamacallits :P)   with AA#7 and 230gr. Rainier Plated bullets.  I have two five-round sub-groups (or two 5-shot groups) of each load to check for accuracy and pressure.  They are layed out thusly: each group of ten is increased in .2gr increments (from/including starting to max) to see what is liked and what is not.  Hopefully, the best grouping load (if present) can be made better by adjusting the OAL slightly.  Anyone else here use AA#7?  What caliber and how does it work for you?

I have used AA7 in my 9mm loads and it worked great - accurate, clean, and meters well.

Glad to hear it.   :agree:  I might finally get a chance to try those loads tomorrow.
