can you use 44 specials in a 44mag handi-rifle?curious because a friend has a taurus 44 sp 3inch  he is willing to sell me for 125$.so it would be nice to have some interchangable rounds this deer season.

Yes, no problem, just make sure you clean the chamber thoroughly before shooting 44 mags again.
