T/C Customer Service

When did T/C start charging for the plug screws for barrels?  It seemed that before, you could call T/C Customer Service and they would send you the screws free of charge.

Plus, the prices seems a little high;  I need 1 stainless steel front sight screw and it's $3.40 plus $1.89 S&H.

Not holding up for the factory, but it's a sign of the times, I'm afraid. If you frequent eBay, etc., you will see several gun parts listed "New" popping up for sale. Can't say all of them are from the factory, but one school of thought is some in the community seem to find getting free parts and turning a profit is more important than honesty. If this is really happening, I can't blame the factory.

Now the price you posted does seem a bit high for a screw.

Call Ed next time.  He has them much cheaper, I think they were under a buck last time I bought some.
