P-Dogs in the Rain?
« on: April 16, 2006, 04:01:13 AM »
Not a lot of activity here lately so I thought I would ramble a thing or two.

1.  Got the rooms booked the other day--very nice lady I talked to.
2.  Got a couple hundred rounds loaded yesterday for the .223
3.  Realized that I need more .22-250 brass and bullets
4.  I am ready to do some shooting.

AND FINALLY
Do P-Dogs hang outside their "homes" in the rain watching for a tornado like a lot of us do

No.  If it rains during the shoot, there won't be much shooting.  That's the chance you take during that time of the year out here.

But, when the rain stops, they'll be out in force.

About the only requirement for them to get out and about
is:  Sunshine.

Even in the dead of winter, days the sun comes out. they'll be out running around on the snow even. Not everday, but, a majority of the time they will be.

A light drizzle won't put them all down, even a light rain sometimes won't.
One thing about this area, when it rains, it's RAINING.  Soon as it stops, it's done and gone, an the sun will be out shortly. When it is, get back to shootin as they'll be out.
