Remington "REALWOOD": What is it?
« on: April 17, 2006, 02:28:04 AM »
Hi:

What is the wood used in the new Remington RealWood shotguns? Is it real Black Walnut? Is it solid wood or a laminate? The quality of the wood used in the RealWood looks much better that their other versions.

Thanks,

the look of modern elegance with the all new Realwood™ Semi-Fancy carbon fiber laminate stock featuring high gloss finish and stylized machine cut checkering..carbon fiber is good stuff.at least it has been in other areas of the shooting world.
my huntin rifle is safe from confiscation only while my battle rifle protects it.

Oh, I get it. The Realwood is not really wood just like the "Russian Remingtons" aren't really Remingtons.
