About 10 years ago, my tree stand was a kayak. I was drifting around a beaver pond up in Maine, looking to shoot an unsuspecting whitetail. I heard a strange noise, looked down, and there was a mink sitting in the bow of the kayak, eating a fish. I sat still and watched him for about 2 or 3 minutes. When he finished, he jumped back in the water, and was gone. It was neat to watch, and I wish I had brought a small camera with me.
