interested in the 8.5-25x44AO Tactical

I am interested in the 8.5-25x44AO Tactical . does anyone have this scope?
I understand that it is 1/4 adjustments as oppossed to 1/8 of the other Mueller scopes and it also does not have an illuminated reticle, I have a few questions . will the scope handle regular recoil of a centerfire rifle? Is the Mildot reticle etched (this scope says etched http://www.whitefalls.ca/products/scopes/MT41650IGR.html  and this one does not http://www.whitefalls.ca/products/scopes/MT852544.html) or is it wire?, does it have the same coatings as your regular scopes? .

It seems as though the scope is a great price (it is a fair bit cheaper then the eraticator)and i am wondering why? and what trade offs are there?
