i used to switch over my rig for bowfishing but it's a pain in the butt.  I ultimately bought a used bow for bowfishing.

As for the tips, i've shot most every kind of 100g expandable and 3 fixed blade muzzys.  I don't think it matters much but i tend to have better results with the expandables retained by a rubber band as opposed to the spring loaded ones.

I use 100 grain Muzzy 3-bladed fixed broadheads. I like the fixed ones b/c I don't want to worry about mechanicals failing if I've hooked them on somerthing or whatever. Just less worry, more confidence.
You only take one shot at a time, so don't waste it :cb2:

MAN! ... not the old 'which broadhead is best question'. Just kidding, but its like asking which is the best truck ... Chevy, Ford or Dodge.

BTW, nice looking bow. I like the fact it goes out to a 31" draw as I am big fella with arms like an Orangatang. My Mathews is only 30" but I use a 3/4" release string to stretch it the little bit more that I need.

Personally I use expanding 100 grain Rocket Steelhead expanding using small rubber rings to hold the blades. I have found them to have excellent flight characteristics when shooting from my bow. A lot closer than others, to my field tips at the higher speeds I shoot at.

I have used Muzzy's and a few other kinds also but have settled on the Rocket Steelheads. But be prepared to replace blades frequently. Then again I throw any broadhead blade away after killing a deer and replace with a new sharp blade. I believe I owe it to the animal to use the sharpest blade possible to ensure a clean kill. That's just me.

Bottom line is any of the top brand broadheads will do the job and remember to post some pics of any deer you get.

As for fishing ... I use the traditional pole as I believe 'fishing is the intelligent man's way of doing absoutely nothing'.
