Ever noticed that when you shoot a heavy bullet compared to a lighter bullet in a caliber the heavy bullet strikes higher on the target? In other words a 180 gr 40 cal will hit the target higher than a 135 gr with the same aiming point. Is this because the heavy bullet is going slower and therefore stays in the barrel longer while the barrel is coming up in recoil?
