Well I got to the range yesterday and did some shooting with my 220- swift thats built on a mauser98 action. I chronyed some of these loads and I am getting anywhere between 3600 to 3800 fps and in between. These loads all were loaded with IMR 4064 and a Sierra 52 Matchking HPBT bullet. Some of these I loaded were loaded to what the sierra manual stated like for example: One load with this powder was 38.1 grains and with this load I got about 300 feet less then what the manual states which isn't a big deal for me. Any way I thought that this was pretty good for this gun. I will say this I have several rifles and so far this rifle shoots better then them all. I hope the barrel that I have coming from Bullberry shoots this good. :biggun:  :sniper:  :gulp:

Just out of curiosity about the difference between the velocity your loading manual shows and what you already got. What is the difference between the "test barrel" length shown in the manual and the actual length of YOUR barrel. There are many other variables that will have an effect on your actual velocity, but there usually is a longer length in the test barrel, and sometimes guys forget to factor that in, and end up dissapointed in the velocity they get, not realizing that their barrel is way shorter than the test barrel... You probably already know this, but I wanted to jump in anyway... Dave

The test barrel in the sierra manual was 26 in. and the twist was 1:14, I don't know the twist of my barrel but the length is 24 in. and this is probably why I came up about 300 ft. short of the manual. Thanks :D
