I hardly ever hear talk about G-96. It is synthetic. It cleans, oils, and preserves. I do not use it to clean, but itis great for oiling and I have had great luck with it on shotguns. They seem to be the first thing to rust. I was just looking for opinions. Doesn't anybody know of any down falls of this product? When it dries, it still protects but does not collect dust or gum. I have been using it for about 8 yrs and recommend it to everyone.
