The .243 paint project is complete

This is all I intend on doing to it for now. I may add some stenciling later, but for now this will do. I decided to go with the "olive drab" on the whole rifle due to the fact it will fit in with the surroundings in our area more than the "desert tan".

Nice job.

It looks good now... it will be interesting to hear how well the finish holds up to hunting (ab)use.

My thoughts exactly "9x19", I have read where after 7 days this stuff is very wear resistant and extemely hard. We'll see. I will put it thru the trueist of tests this year. I am in the field whenver I can be, and hunt a lot from the ground, even deer hunting.

 I think it looks prety dang good, alot better than part done.
 just my 2 cents. Hope it wares good, doesn't go to flaking and/or
 peeling, let us know down the road :D

i painted mine too, but my .308 just the stock set a solid lighter shade of OD Green from Rustoleum camo paint. the .17HMR of mine has the stock and reciever painted but not the barrel.
In fact i'm gonna open a thread for suggestions to take this further.
