Pardner pump 12ga turkey model

Just picked one up on sale for home defense/ back up turkey gun, can't wait to shoot it. We'll be getting improved cylinder choke for slugs/buckshot as it only comes with extra full. Anyway, just wondering what your alls opinions are on the gun. Anything I should be aware of or look out for? it has a 22 inch barrel now.Thanks. :D  :-D  :-)

I got one of the 28 inch barrel wood stocked versions for a turkey gun. All I have to say is OUCH! I'm not real recoil sensitive but man this thing kicks with a turkey load in it. I decided to use my A5 light stalker with 2 3/4 inch turkey loads instead.

I did think mine had a pretty decent trigger though, not bad for turkey hunting. I used to have a mossberg bantam 500 with the 12 gauge ported barrel. Much better on recoil, but the trigger left a bit to be desired.
