Questions about new Survivor

I picked up my new Survivor today, it is in 308. I noticed the serial number has no letters only numbers 215xxx how do I tell when it was made? Also my dealer gave me a great price on another new Survivor only it is 45 colt/ 410. I know this is a SB1 frame so am I limited to cowboy type loads or could I use 45 colt +P loads once in awhile?

The best way to find out about the frame is to call or email H&R.

Man, seems like a ton of people are ordering Survivors lately, in all calibers too, especially 308.
