I'm a no-skill kinda fisherman with a big box of nitecrawlers. I'm gonna be in Holmen this Sunday and Monday at a silhouette match, and thought I'd ask for advice. A place to camp would be a plus. Thanks!

where is the match? holmen rod and gun? if so, go up the road to the trempleau dam on the mississippi river. you never know what you will catch there. anyone at the match can give you directions there. also, the black river runs under a bridge right by the holmen rod and gun club. just go under the bridge and start fishing..

I fished Trampleau, caught a bunch of bass, none over 14". Had a lot of fun, though! Thanks!
