Have a browning 1895 in 30-40 krag. Is it in any way possible to convert it to a 375 win. Just a thought. Thanks

The "possible" covers a broad spectrum.

Is it possible? Yes. It'smoderately easy to rebarrel, chamber, refit sits, extractor, ejector, and feed box for the .375 Winchester round. Add the cost of contouring the barrel, rebluing, and the cost will likely exceed the price of a new rifle.

What you end up doing of course, is ruing the collector value of the 1895, and end up with a less saleable rifle.

Most especially since the round can be handled by the M94 or 336.. It would represent an under powered round for the venerable '95.. If you are just looking for a 375 check around for a fired comemorarative.. I bought a 38-55 in the 'Legendary Frontiersman' model that had been used negating it's collector value to a great extent. The M94 and 336 also came chambered in the 375 Win(almost a 38-55 clone, except for pressures) and they too can still be had.
