i have a 26" heavy .260 barrel from the t/c custom shop. it seems to have a short throat. i've read that the standard OAL for the .260 is 2.800. most load data i see is @ 2.780. i am loading 120gr. speer hotcors to 2.770. any longer and the bullet is in the rifling lands. maybe i'm just used to boltactions and being able to seat a bullet longer than the OAL. anyone noticed a short T/C chamber?
