I have an in line made by a gunsmith named Maurice Miller, of Bowie Maryland. It has a thumbhole stock and a 45 cal. barrel with a false muzzle. It was made in the 1960's. It has both peep and open sights and looks as if it had been drilled for scope mounts. There is another interchangeable barrel as well.
Can anyone tell me about this maker. I called a muzzleloader buddy who once lived down in Maryland and he said he thinks the fella went by the name Pat and may have been connected with a firm called Deathwind Rifle works and a gun builder named "Griffie". and that both have since long passed away. Does anyone know of this fellow? I'd like some history to go with the rifle.
