tacstar shotshell holder

anybody ever try mounting a tacstar sidesaddle shotshell holder to the stock of a synthetic pardner? they're made to be attached to the receiver of various brands of pump shotguns, but it seems like it could work.   i'm not all that crazy about the "elastic" style i have now.  seems like it could be screwed/epoxied to the stock.  what do you think?  the elastic one i've got on there now moves around a lot from the recoil.  thanks for your input.....tg

Cut a small slit/hole in the back botttom of the elastic one, remove your sling stud and screw it down through the slit to secure it to your stock.

i tried that but what happens is it stays anchored at the swivel and gets all bunched up everywhere else.  tg
