Depends on how far back you mount it, the hammer position will determine ring height. Here's my .280 Handi w/the WTC18 mounted in medium Burris Signature Zees...

Thank's quickdtoo for the quick reply, my handi now has a Bushnell Trophy 3x9x40 on it , I think the rings that I have on it will work. I will order the scope tonight and try the rings that I have, also Thank's for the pic,my rings look just as high as yours. Yall have a good night from South Carolina.

I have a Simmons WTC 6.5x20x50mm mounted on my bull barrelled .223 Handi and use medium height Millet Angle Loc rings on top of an H&R/NEF Ultra scope rail. The medium height Millet rings have enough clearance and work great for me. The WTC is a great scope for the money, as are most Simmons products...<><....

edited for spelling...

I have two of the Simmons 6.5 X 20  -50scopes one on my 223
ultra barrel other on my 219 Zipper barrel. I like them. In June I
am going to Oklahoma To shot P Dogs  Marv.

P.S.  I use high Loupold Rifleman rings on every thing.

Page down to the pistol scope on a handi... Exactly what I did with a Huntsman... Works like a charm. No hammer extention needed. Not to mention a big scope on a small rifle, with scope mounted above comfortable line of sight.. I also took a rasp to my ugly fit pistol grip stock.
The fit and finish on H&R 100years ago was better than now. Who's operating the stock deal? I know they're cheap, and we love em', but can't someone reset the tolerances a little tighter... That can't cost!

I completely agree, it certainly would seem to be cost effective and end user pleasing....<><...
