Accubond 260 with IMR4350 help
«

I want to use accubond 260gr. in a #1 tropical .375 and I would really like to use IMR 4350. Other powders are likely better but I have a bunch of the 4350 on hand. I would like a fairly heavy load as it will be used for moose in the open at 200 to 300 yds. Sure would appreciate some help.

IMR4350 is a fine powder for the 375 H&H. With the 260 grain Nosler Accubond, 79 grains of IMR4350 yields about 2750 fps in my 24" barreled Winchester M70. Reduce by 10% and work up carefully watching for signs of excessive pressure or velocity.

Thanks for the information. It is nice to hear what actually works and not just what is written in the book.
I am also going to try your practice load with the hornady bullets, after I get finished with the Accubond load.
Thanks.
