:D its a 45colt trapper for 600 dollars cash i paid 300 for it new 7 years ago people are realy goin crazy for the winchesters now iam shure someone will start making them soon enuf and i am laughing all the way to the bank now for the money i made i can buy a used marlin  and a nice scope. how do you think i did ?                                                                                                                                  thanx superdown

Sounds like you made some money, and if you wanted a Marlin anyway,  why not?
I wouldn't sell my 94 though. Too much like selling an old hunting dog.

i dont know how you trapper shot but my cousin had one and it wouldnt shoot worth a dang
he sold it in a big hurry and made 20 bucks more than he paid for it
something abt those pistol cartridges in a rifle length action
i have a buffalo bill commemorative rifle with the 24 inch barrel and i wouldnt sell her. lucrezia is a bad girl she kills everything in her sights :wink:

Here is a deal I'm peased with.  Last January, I bought a 94 in .356 for $585.  Appeared "as new".  I sold it last month for $1,100.  Amazing that these carbines are so valuable.  But I doubt this inflated pricing will last much longer.

I bought a like new 94 in 30-30 for $225 a couple months ago.
It even came with a Redfield scope, but I've replaced that with a Williams peep.
I don't plan on selling it, but it's nice to know I can make money on it anytime I want.
