hey whats up just bought a 782 was just wondering i paid 100.00 for it it's in good shape did not shoot it yet any good or bad news about this gun looks to be older the white spacer on stock is a lil yellowed has walnut checkerd stock hooded front sight ramp rear let me know some input please thanks

that is an excellent rifle, you got it for a steal. check any of the '83 threads, they are basically the same rifle.

I have one and after all these years twenty something it's still a great little shooter. As accurate as ever enough for rabbit or can out past a 100yds. Bought it new and still looks new. Yeah you got a deal . That's about what I paid tax and all back in 1984 on sale. Enjoy it. :-)
