I like the Fiochi 1 3/8 oz 1450 fps loads.

This isn't too bad of a load here. Reference 15th edition Winchester reloaders manual.

STS hull (way better than the newer AA's)good choice.

1 1/4 oz I'm partial to 5's  Fed 209 Primer 29.5 grains of WSF @ 1330 fps 10,700 psi.

Iv'e been using WSF lately because a frind gave me 5# for free.

For 1 1/4 oz loads I like a AA or STS hull with 36 grains of Blue dot, Red Win wad, and win209 primer. I also like 29.5 WSF with the Wincheseter 114  wads. WSF is more versitile because it is an excellent powder for 1 1/8 oz loads as well . Many guys I shoot with like Hodgon longshot, it gets a little more velocity.

Good shooting,
Brian

My favorite load for years has been a 3-1/4 dram - 1-1/4oz Live pigeon load with #6's.  With the AA or STS case I use 22.0gr to 22.5gr of Unique with the RP12 wad.  I match the primer to the case Win209 for the AA and Premier209 for the STS.  This load will give you 1220fps and will kill any pheasant you can hit.
Good Shooting,
George

Winchester has discontinued the WAA12F114 wad. Claybuster has a clone, but I haven't tried it yet.

For pheasant, the 3 1/4 - 1 1/4 - 6 load is hard to beat. I use Green Dot powder, but the load is no longer a published one.
