I would like to purchase additional magazines for my Thompson Auto-Ordnance 45 ACP. I do not see them advertised. Will other "brands" fit and do the same job?

all 1911 magazines are not created equal. some are total junk, and some are awesome. i recomend the wilson combat magazines.

Pachmyer, and Kimber mags are also top notch!

I agree totally but with the caveat that they are all dimensionally identical within tolerances.. While quality is as always veryable...

gwindrider1 where can one purchase Pachmyer 1911 mags? I bought some years ago and loved them. I now own another Colt and looked on line for them but couldn't find any. Thanks for the help.

The last ones that I found were at a gunshow. Not sure if they are currently manufactered or not.
