I have a Big Chief smoker, and it works fine for my needs. It is an electric variety that uses sawdust (best) for the smoke. Works ok with small chips, but sawdust really is the better choice. Sometimes it is not as big as the load I'm smoking, though. This is a cool smoker that I've used for making jerky, and smoking sausage. For the sausage I always finish the process in the oven to ensure I achieve the correct internal temperature. Worth the price? I thought mine was, but I forget what I paid for it.
