I know that if I took my rifle outside I could ck this out myself (but it is dark, cold and snowing). If I have (and I do) a 3.5x10x44 scope does the FOV change as I go from lower magnification to higher magnification? I know, sounds like a dumb question but I have never paid any attention to it. I just always figured that the advertized FOV for any given scope was consistent regardless of magnification setting. But after reading some of the posts here I am wonderin.

longwinters,the field of view gets smaller as you increase the magnification. Most scope makers state the FOV at the lowest and highest magnification. The lowest magnification has the widest FOV. The lowest power also gathers the most light. I hope this helps. Dave
