New Glock 26 - Installing front night sight??

I just bought my first Glock (Model 26) today and ordered an XS Standard Tritium Dot front sight. It is the type that has a screw/post that goes on the inside of the slide.

But I was surprised to find that the factory front sight is a swaged-on style... Do I just pry the swaged one off and install the screw-on replacement without any modifications??

Any help would be appreciated!

Yes... just pry out the plastic one.  Use some kind of thread lock on the new sight and make sure everything is pretty clean.
